Set up and dressed in my new hat and jacket….Love my pimped camping gear
Haley (60kg) enjoying herself greeting all the guests and getting a pad on the head and a cuddle, and hanging by the pool, at my friend Maria’s boyfriend Christian 50 years + her daughter Laura 20 years birthday party in Greve, my childhood hometown.
Family and friends young and old gathered to enjoy food and drinks and good company.

Painted and decorated the bar as a cruise ship bar ready for the festival. It was dark in the tent so used a head torch!
Getting home from work and then out of the couch to go to the Dojo and train Aikido.
Being a proud member of Copenhagen Aiki Shuren Dojo, with lots of future achievements to grasp

Mixing paint for the Boiler Room. We’re building a cruise ship in a tent….the Boiler Room will be for some shenanigans to go on….
Lots of achievement here: getting up early (again) going to work, riding my bike despite the pouring rain and not smoking.

On site at Shambala Festival and first on site yesterday for The Waiting Room team. Venue is directly opposite the Big Wheel this year. Today was spent sorting what we had last year and getting the walls white and the curved bar white.
Getting up early to see the sunrise ( and going to work)

Settled these two together with a lovely morning walk and being together at Philip’s house before driving on without Otto to Shambala Festival.
Getting through a really long and tough day at work.
I was late coming in to work in the morning because my bicycle was broken, then had some difficult tasks on my hand and later on in the day had some unpleasant phonecalls to do to patients because of cancellations on the operation schedule, feeling a bit frustrated with a lot of lose ends that I didn’t manage to fix today. But still got through the day and also managed to go for a run in Søndermarken listening to Bob Dylan’s Baby Blue which almost made me cry while running.

Decided to join my rambling group on an 8 mile walk near Kingsbridge before driving 5 hours up to Northamptonshire. Was the best decision as the walking grounded me which I really needed, my head had felt all over the place. Had a lovely drive north listening to podcasts and Otto had had a lovely runaround before being in the van.
Making things grow.
Planted this little larch tree last summer and I wasn’t sure it was going to make it, but now it finally seems to be thriving and sprouting.

Van all packed up for dressing the Waiting Room at Shambala Festival, being a sheep at Maui Waui and for Otto to stay at my friend’s house in Northamptonshire.
Making fire. Getting this little baby BBQ burning and made homemade spicy deer meatballs to go with a nice crunchy french salad with Big chunks of tomato, cucumber, lettuce, red onion, baked cocktail tomatoes lush olive oil and parmasan.

I’ve been intending to go to Markethall, Devonport, Plymouth for about 3 years now….and today I went for a morning space film.
Busy day with too many invitations and not enough time, managed to fit in an vernissage with the artist Frederik Næblerød and some really nice figures, a summer party at my favourite travel agency De Brede Planker (the wide planks which make a lot of offpiste/touring/catski tours), meeting some old ski friends and then of to meet my high School buddies for tapas and fun and games in Greve ( my old childhood town)
Well didn’t take pictures of any of the above but on my way to things walked through the Kings Garden, where I could enjoy this beautiful perennial bed.
What an achievement, its (one of) the gardner(s) to the right in the picture.

I achieved stopping. I had breakfast, a bath and stayed in bed watching films. The weather was perfect…ly awful!
Foraging delicious sweet and some a bit sour brambleberries from the prickly bushes in the hedgerow at the summerhouse in Udsholt.

Deadline of decorating my kitchen after the wall coming down, putting everything back in place, clearing my sitting room and clearing bathroom of tools and putting plants back there so I could have a soirée before the British Firework Championships which are held in Plymouth every year was at 5pm today. Everyone was late which was perfect and I nailed it. And reeeeelaaaaax 🙃🙌🏼 And then as tourist guide found a perfect spot for everyone to watch the fireworks 🎇🎆🎇🎆
Achiviement; just getting through the day and saying goodnight to the city lights before bed.

Kept painting my kitchen and trying to keep my cool with distractions by others…this was a late steak dinner made for me …
Going to a concert and getting blown away.
Went to see Blonde Redhead at Pumpehuset and this was a pitstop on a windy square on the walk home.

An early morning walk for Otto and swim for me despite pretty grim weather on Fistral Beach, Newquay, Cornwall before a breakfast visit at friends near Redruth
Beautiful buildings transcending times; this twisted chimney was built in 1900 by master mason Beckman on commission from brew master Carl Jacobsen ( the founder of Carlsberg). The Golden circles in the background are from a later period (1969) and made of Gold leaf. Each circle was said to cost the same as a Volkswagen beetle.

A new beach and a walk before breakfast. Porthtowan, Cornwall.
Holding on tight, not falling off. On a little joyride from Udsholt to Tibirke Sand and Anisse and back home on the Honda 600R XL Paris Dakar (it’s in a short scene in movie; the back to the future)

Walked from Perranporth to St Agnes in mist, then rain. Went for a swim in the rain, a yummy lunch and decided to take the bus back because we are on holiday!
Staying up late to watch the night sky and look for shooting stars ( I saw four)

We walked from Newquay to Perranporth, then had a swim, a pint, collected my van from a side road and camped.
Getting through a 15 hour work day.
The view and the company helped.

Managed to leave all the jobs at mine and drive to Cornwall to meet Jo while Lila is at Boardmasters.
Stones nicely lined up with dedication, ready to be laid out.

Taps set into the slate tile in the bathroom
Homemade pickled red onion to go on a delicious salad and matching the flowers.

Kitchen wall completed
Monday morning, end of the night shift.

3rd coat of white on the ceiling
Strolling around Carlsberg byen, spying this wee fella making its way in this world.
