Making a gourmet meal out of cheap ingredients. You can buy a portion of mussels enough for two people for 30 danish kroner (2,5 pounds) some left over veggies (onion and leek) and voila, bon appetite.

Achievement; getting through an 8 day working week, finishing off with a 16 hour shift and still keeping the Christmas spirit High, thanks to great colleagues and an interesting job.
First fire of the year. Crashing a bit after all the excitement of the Saudi trip so ribeye and a cosy homely fire was my healthy soothing.

A planned relaxed day went quickly into a busy day moving an armchair I needed out of my house into my new studio space. A win win. Ralph moved out, I moved into his area in our studio. 2 washes, new bedding and finally walked Otto as the sun was setting and the nighttime fair lights came on. *****

Achieviement: Winding down at home with typically danish Christmas food (grønlangkål, brunede kartofler og medister)and adventskrans (4 candles one for each sunday before Christmas) after a busy but fulfilling day at work.
An early morning flight from Riyadh, Heathrow express to Paddington. An hour and a half before my train so decided to follow my nose and discovered this! My name… must be a sign to have a pint to celebrate the achievement of the past 4 weeks work!*****
Achievement; managing a full 8 hours shift on my feet at the hospital with my broken pinky toe.
Broke the toe trying to do a technique called;
Juji-garami which sounds a bit like origami and the technique actually is about folding the arms of the opponent and then put them on the floor.
We did it!! All props delivered and in place on time. A great team and an amazing experience. We won the quidditch cup! *****
Achieviement; being part of an Award winning mountain bike movie; Forfra (Send it) made by my friend (and professional videographer and photographer) Camillahyllebergphotography.
Shot during the last +3 years and finally presented at the NAFF festival (Nordic adventure film festival (running for 29 years, so also an achievement)) this Friday night. Camilla did all the filming and editing herself, so the rest of us just had to show up and have a good time together.
I worked with people from Pakistan, Bangladesh, the Philippines, Yemen, Egypt, and other countries. I led teams of different nationalities to help with props we needed. It was such a new experience and I loved it.*****
Achievement; making everybody who stops by our office feel bit of Christmas cosiness with Christmas decorations and lights all over.
Another crazy busy day finishing as much as we could. The whole team worked together late into the night with me on the scissor lift stuffing boxes, scrolls and letters onto shelves in Ollivanders, the wand shop. It was such a buzz, it seems I thrive in hecticness. We nailed it! *****

Another day in London and another day at the heart conference, amazed at what is achieved in heart valve therapy and treatment over the last decade.
Seeing the light back at the hotel in Canary Wharf, noticing that there is the same lamp in my room as one we have at home.
Delicious beetroot and feta salad. Another really busy day glueing all the cutlery, plates and goblets down so the props don’t get taken. I would have a photograph of that here but I’m not allowed 🙃*****
After a long day at a heartvalve conference, where finally more and more women are represented on the big stages and panel discussions, I managed to find my colleagues at a restaurant Chop Chop in the basement, under a joint gambling and strip bar in China town.
The food and service was excellent and the future had already arrived with a robot helping cleaning the tables.
Making a huge spider web. The amount of squats I did while making it was an incredible achievement!! *****
Spending the day sightseeing in London with a long lost friend.
Took the ferry bus from Canary Wharf up the Thames, walked along the river, had a scone and clotted cream. Went to see the Dualers, a ska and reggae band, at the O2 Indigo stage.
Had a great day, talking and walking, looking at art and dancing and catching up on +10 years.
Big cue on the tube leaving O2, so instead took the bus, which was stuck in traffic for ages, but we had a seat and were warm and comfy and it gave us time to chat some more.
Team Unify apart from Heather out for a delicious meal at a Lebanese restaurant next to our hotel. We all managed to squeeze into the booth! *****

Arriving at the fifteenth (15) floor; I took the stairs, this guy probably flew.
I’m working in Saudi Arabia for Warner Brothers making and installing props for their Harry Potter immersive world. Today was spent at the hotel’s sauna, swimming pool and hot tub and then wandering around the area. I’d say that was an achievement!*****
Getting on my bike, even on a chilly snowy morning.
Bicycling to work in all weather. This day turned out very pretty with a crisp and clear blue sky. Had a great day at work, a lot achieved working together with a great colleague.
Dropped Otto at the sheep farm. Saw Kate and Dan at the Plume of Feathers. Hazel dropped me at Bristol airport. I took the bus to Bristol bus station. Took the bus up to Heathrow. Left my poncho at Bristol bus station. Met Jonas and Ali at the airport and had a pint of Guinness to celebrate. Didn’t miss our flight. Flew business class to Saudi Arabia.*****
Spending the day with my father, helping him with a visit to the doctor.
In the evening tuesday Aikido training, wearing my hakama and being able to manage to tackle all this string and tie them in appropriate bows.
Another gorgeous autumn walk with Hazel this time. Another swim in the river for me and a loop back across the moors. *****
The day started as a blue monday but turned out to be a lovely day with Aikido training in the morning, relaxing, running in the park in the sun with autumn leaves colours and a rainbow.
Brrrr….swimming for ages in a quarry with saunas and a hot tub to finish.*****
