FOUR:132: SUNDAY 5 APRIL 2020

The back seems more attractive to me right now. I made this canvas at Plymouth College of Art…it’s the first canvas I’ve ever made and am proud of it. So much so I want to paint all over it and appreciate all its folds and craftsmanship. And also because I don’t want to run out of things to paint on…..

FOUR:126/DAY THIRTY: MONDAY 30 MARCH 2020
I’ve been having SO many baths. I think it is because I’m missing human contact and wrapping myself up in warm water makes me feel safer.
FOUR:125/DAY TWENTY-NINE: SUNDAY 29 MARCH 2020
Sorry mine is from Saturday…I ate some old cream cheese (silly) and got a mild, initially mistaken for an unfair hangover, food poisoning….relieved it wasn’t CV19 but still it battered me and left me in pain. It took away the delight that was getting me through this – food preparation and eating. Don’t take any chances with food, just because you can’t go to the shops…I was more fragile than I thought….
FOUR:124/DAY TWENTY-EIGHT: SATURDAY 28 MARCH 2020
Barter system in full swing in Plymouth. Side to Side with Brian in Chicago
FOUR:123/DAY TWENTY-SEVEN: FRIDAY 27 MARCH 2020

Cycling round on my own exploring my new town. You can come round a corner and discover delights like this. These hills are getting me fit.
FOUR:122/DAY TWENTY-SIX: THURSDAY 26 MARCH 2020

My favourite flowers. I picked them…I needed them.
FOUR:121/DAY TWENTY-FIVE: WEDNESDAY 25 MARCH 2020

Made a video of a performance piece for an online presentation for Plymouth College of Art. I’m doing an MA in Fine Art and it’s on ‘The Complexity of Identity’. I’m expanding the field of self portrait. This was the aftermath….

My first oil painting. And a self portrait. In my bathroom. At ‘stay at home’ time 2020.
