Drove to Jutland to visit Peter’s Mother.
All the roundabouts in Skive area have an art installation in the middle, I like this Big Golden orb, just because it’s big and shiny.
Otto rolled in poo in the park. That summed up the feeling of the day. But later as my friend Dave reminded me “There’s a horrible effect, where one set of negative thoughts can suck in other older ones. It’s such an annoying thing” Having an old friend get in touch and with words of wisdom was enough to lift the mood *****
Went to the fishmonger after work. Looking for something that would go well with paprika, since Peter brought home fresh paprika from Budapest.
Ended up buying a squid (from the danish sea) and fried it on a pan after it was turned over in a flour and paprika mix.
Enjoyed it with really cold and fresh non alcoholic beers.

Another day at work, passing this building on my way home. A grey day, but a lighter mood when I went to bed than the mood I woke up in the morning.

Had a lovely morning chilling with breakfast at the van. We then explored Sennen which was beautiful, wild and turquoise. Pub crawl round Porthleven looking for where to eat in the evening *****
Great course with really interactive workshops and lots of sharing knowledge and experiences across Europe on the subject of how the nurse can help lead and manage the patient pathway for patients with heart valve disease. There were participants from both Israel and Palestine too.
Drove to meet a friend in Porthleven who’s over from Denmark surfing his way round the coast. Went for a lovely walk around Lake Loe. Dinner in a delicious seafood restaurant in Porthleven, Kota Kai. ****
Yesterday spent all day and night working at Rigshospitalet in Copenhagen. Today dipping my feet in Lake Genève.
Participating in an international course for nurse heart valve coordinators in Morges, Switzerland.
Spent the day figure sculpting. Our hot dry summer stopped abruptly a few weeks ago and since had been mainly rain with the occasional sunshine…which has been fine with me. *****
A looooong day at work, arrived at 7 o’clock in the morning and left just before midnight after over 16 hours straight work.
This Sunday there was a half Marathon taking place in Copenhagen and my day also felt a bit like a Marathon but great colleagues made the day and night pass in a jiff.
Went with Lucy to Saltash to look at bigger vans getting a better idea of what I’m after. Then cycled to the Barbican to help Christa with her selfie station promoting an art exhibition she has in November at a rum distillery in Plymouth *****
Really busy day at work. Came home and got mesmerized by really dramatic clouds and a far away rumbling thunder outside my window.
Potatoes grown from the last potato that Willie and Lizzie gave me at Easter time. The first potatoes I have ever grown 🥰 ****

Helping out my colleague with a presentation. She is facilitating a course for nurses and allied professionals in the topic ‘Heartvalve Coordinator’ next week.
She’s a great colleague and it’s always a great time working with her.
Went for an interview at Ocean City Radio to be a volunteer. What I didn’t anticipate is that if I want, I can have my own radio programme… Afterwards got a drive-through fast food lunch and ate it in my van while it poured with rain before walking Otto along a beautiful river sheltered slightly from the rain. A good pick me up day *****
Day off. Aikido in the Dojo in the morning, then a short run in a really sweaty humid air. Then met up with Christina, went for walk and made homemade pizza for dinner. Nice active day.

Work, Aikido and an evening walk in Carlsberg byen. All the courtyards have different flowers and vegetation, so it’s always fun to go exploring.

Getting up at five in the morning to drive from the summerhouse in Udsholt Nordsjælland to Copenhagen. Then a brisk walk through Carlsberg byen to pick up my bike at the train station so I could bicycle to work. Love sleeping late, but also love the light in the early morning.

A long weekend of Aikido, but still made it with train and bus to the summer house in Udsholt for a cosy BBQ and watching the blood moon.
Stopped all day at Sarah’s to think and try and just ‘be’. Constructed a difficult message. Danced in the evening *****
The Gi’s and hakama’s hanging up to dry in between classes at our Copenhagen Aiki Shuren Dojo Friendship Seminar with Sensei Paolo from Italy and our own Ethan Sensei. The seminar was in Nørrebro hallen and had really nice and big facilities.
Arrived at Sarah’s farm on Dartmoor last night for her 50th celebrations. Walked to the Avon reservoir and swam..this was the wall of the reservoir *****

Really hot and humid weather in DK, so had some juice honeydew melon after Aikido training.
Dinner at my neighbour, Donna’s house. A lovely evening getting to know each other better and fun seeing views I see from another angle. *****
Had the day off, so Aikido in the morning and out for a 10k run in the afternoon.
Passed this big thing being dropped off at a nearby castle/military base in Frederiksberg Have.
Met my studio mate to go through set painting techniques. Turns out she used to set paint for Disney for 15 years in LA. A funny moment reminding me our stars are aligned and everything is as it should be. *****
Not so blue today, except for the sky.
