Sitting in the Harry Potter car! Which flew over……in a plane. *****
Arriving at the fifteenth (15) floor; I took the stairs, this guy probably flew.

I’m working in Saudi Arabia for Warner Brothers making and installing props for their Harry Potter immersive world. Today was spent at the hotel’s sauna, swimming pool and hot tub and then wandering around the area. I’d say that was an achievement!*****
Getting on my bike, even on a chilly snowy morning.
Bicycling to work in all weather. This day turned out very pretty with a crisp and clear blue sky. Had a great day at work, a lot achieved working together with a great colleague.

Dropped Otto at the sheep farm. Saw Kate and Dan at the Plume of Feathers. Hazel dropped me at Bristol airport. I took the bus to Bristol bus station. Took the bus up to Heathrow. Left my poncho at Bristol bus station. Met Jonas and Ali at the airport and had a pint of Guinness to celebrate. Didn’t miss our flight. Flew business class to Saudi Arabia.*****
Spending the day with my father, helping him with a visit to the doctor.
In the evening tuesday Aikido training, wearing my hakama and being able to manage to tackle all this string and tie them in appropriate bows.

Another gorgeous autumn walk with Hazel this time. Another swim in the river for me and a loop back across the moors. *****
The day started as a blue monday but turned out to be a lovely day with Aikido training in the morning, relaxing, running in the park in the sun with autumn leaves colours and a rainbow.

Brrrr….swimming for ages in a quarry with saunas and a hot tub to finish.*****
The whole family tree climbing at Heather Hill (called Heather Hill in danish too, because this spot of seaside nature was bought by an english tea-mogul who lived here and loved the landscape and turned the place into a declared landscape protected area)

A long autumn walk and a skinny dip in a Dartmoor river. Then dinner, film and cosiness. So lovely having Bella to stay. Achieving perfect autumness. *****
My good friend Anne-Sofie, her husband Stefan and kid Louie visited for the weekend at the summerhouse, and on a dark evening walk, little Louie helped illuminate our appletree with his little flashlight.

I have found a farm in Devon where Otto can stay if I am away that is affordable and friendly. This is the biggest relief because Otto is my biggest comfort in life but also when I want to go away my biggest stress. Feels like a huge achievement to have found this place and now visited. *****
Today 4 years ago we bought this lovely little wooden cabin near the sea.
The house was built the same year I was born (1978) and stands intact with all original interior, even the oven from back then still works.
A little haven from the bustling city life.

Up for yoga at 7 despite driving back from Bristol last night. A walk in the park with Otto’s best friend Fish. This view.
Achievement; seeing something I haven’t seen before at work.
It says; (turning) the first sod for for the Kingdom.
Rigshospitalet is at times called the Kingdom (Riget).
At first I thought it was the historic shovel, but it is really props for the Series The Kingdom made by Lars von Trier.

The view outside the warehouse I’ve been working for the past 2 weeks. Feels like such an achievement finding work that suits my skills as well as being a real adventure…there’s more to come….
Super busy day at work, but still achieved a quiet moment enjoying the sunrise over Copenhagen city.

It’s amazing what some sanding, varnish and care can do…this job feels like an achievement of finding a tiny ad in a random fb group I joined last summer and it ending up in paid work I really enjoy.
Beautiful Ikebana by Ulla at the Dojo.

Making shiny things to put around the burrows….a bit like a bower bird nest by the sounds of it. I’ve been wanting to make a bower bird nest since circa 2012 so being paid to make one is quite a surprise and an achievement!
Left early this morning for work, then afterwork seminar and then dinner with colleagues and back home late.

Managed to finally sort out Otto being cared for while I work in Bristol this week. Then blew the cobwebs away with a walk along the beach at Whitsands Bay and a swim.
Sunday morning Aikido training, after a late night concert.

I had committed to leaving home early and going on a long walk despite knowing I was arriving home tired late last night. But I did it and loved it and achieved 10 miles of beauty with my rambling group.
Achievement; managing to have a chilled and relaxing morning enjoying my coffee without rushing off anywhere.

Another fun day making props. And being given doughnuts.
Udbrud (my brothers band) after their fantastic debut concert at Lygten Station.

Made more props today including 3 ‘burrows’ involving cardboard, hanging basket pockets, expandable foam and plaster….a good team and varied work which involves me using my initiative. Definitely feels like I’m achieving right now.
Achievement; finally moving away from stressfulness with physical activity followed by comfort food (home made burgers and baked sweet potatoes) and rest.

Work in Bristol helping with props for a secret gig. One of my jobs was to give an ‘essence of gold’ to lots of pewter goblets….I left home at 6.30am to arrive on time. A home from home evening at Blackbird Singing in the dead of Night Dave’s new home after finishing work.
Achievement; how this metro stairway was matching my mood: feeling completely blue, the state of my mind, my job, the world…
This stairway did lead to a better place with white truffles and good wine, so did forget about the above ordeals for a while.

I went to yoga at 7am and on my way home saw this lady scooting along with her pink stripe of hair. I missed getting a photo of her as she whizzed past a billboard of similar colours but did manage to catch her before she went round the corner. The rest of the day involved sorting stressful dog logistics as I was offered work last minute in Bristol.
Trying to stay calm in a work day full of stressors, but not quite able to, so ended up oversharing my frustration.
At least I let some steam out.
Went to training in Dojo, where somebody was feeling frustrated with some of the Aikido techniques.
Not feeling in balance, but today it’s an achievement getting through the day.
Autumn leaves on Gammel Carlsberg road.

I went walking on Dartmoor with Otto and found this weird mushroom. It smelt really bad. Luckily I’m part of a foraging group in Plymouth and today was the first time I discovered something unusual enough to post. Felt like an achievement!
Biggest achievement of the day, catching this funny light outside, looking a bit like northern lights.

Heated rocket yoga at 9. Walked Otto. Washed Otto. Played pool. Made this delicious Spanish omelette with a selection of specifically saved leftovers.
This beautiful and cheerful sunflower defying the otherwise grey weather and brightening up a cold and windy walk around Hjerk, Jutland.

Another ramble…this beauty is only about 20 minutes from my house. I’ve not been here before. I love exploring the area. Joining my rambling group was one of the best things I’ve done this year.
Achievement to slow down completely and just enjoy the little things around me and being with the old folks doing nothing without getting (too) restless.
