Ferry, bus and back in Chania early…a morning of wandering sleepily round town while we waited for our room to be available. And to discover it was in an area of the old town we hadn’t been before and was a fabulous mix of ancient and contemporary made my day.
This little plant in the bottom of the picture, is a butterfly bush brought back from Peter’s parents in Hjerk, Jylland to Udsholt Strand, Sjælland.
Now I have Found a nice spot in the garden and planted it, and it will hopefully survive the winter so that we can accommodate loads of butterflies next year.
